This is Tagore's poem expressing his goals for international education. Rabindranath Tagore, the Nobel laureate poet, writer, philosopher was the ambassador of Indian culture to the rest of the world.
Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high,
Where knowledge is free;
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls;
Where words come out from the depth of truth;
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection;
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit;
Where the mind is led forward by thee into ever-widening thought and action– into that heaven of freedom,
Be kind to your heart. It's the only one you have. Heart disease is the number one cause of death in both male and female. Risk factors like family history, gender and age can't be changed but fortunately, most risk factors for heart disease are preventable.
There are 5 major risk factors for heart disease: high cholesterol, cigarette smoking, high blood pressure, obesity and lack of physical activity. The good news is they can all be managed. Here are a few tips to get yourself started:
o CUT BACK ON THE BUTTER - As a rule, a 1% reduction in choleserol equals a 2% reduction in your risk for a heart attack. Remember, cholesterol only comes from 2 sources: our bodies and the foods we eat. So take it easy on the greasy stuff.
o PUT THAT CIGARETTE OUT, FOR GOOD - Smokers are twice as likely to suffer heart attacks as nonsmokers, and smoking is the greatest risk factor for sudden cardiac death.
o WATCH YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE - If it's 140/90 or above, it's too high. Talk to your doctor about controlling your pressure with diet and/or medication. High blood pressure puts you at an increased risk for smoke and heart attack.
o LOSE JUST A LITTLE, TO START - Even modest weight reductions - 5% to 10% of your body weight will improve overall health. Shoot for 1/2 or 2 pound loss per week, through a combination of healthy eating, calorie reduction and physical activity.
o LET'S GET PHYSICAL - If you don't work out, you're doubling your risk of heart attack. The best excercises are those that condition your heart and lungs for 30-60 minutes three or four times a week.
) It's very easy to get whatever you want to get, only thing you've to do is better time management!
2) Until you don't manage your time effectively, you can never get success!
3) clever use of time&trick leads to clear success!
4) right effort in right direction at right time leads to right outcome!
5) never ever think about sex before getting desired success!
6) avoid irrelevant movies/CDs/sites/profiles /books/newspapers/persons ....as they divert our mind from our goal!
7) love (in the sense of sexual relations) is the thing to do when you've nothing to do!
at the time of study, never ever think about sex.....if any thought regarding this is still coming ..then write on paper..and show it to your father/mother....they'll guide you..what to do....OK?
9) controlling body organs is a very difficult task. only thing which i can advice you to be in the company of good persons always. Bad thoughts attack on us when we are alone!
10) If you've enough money to spend for next fifty years..then you're free to do..whatever..you want to do...be it anything....(but not illegal activities..like participation on attack on public places etc. etc....)!
The Indian Air Force (IAF) was established as the ''Royal Indian Air Force'' by the passing of the Indian Air Force act on October_8 1932. Accordingly, IAF's Number 1 Squadron came into being on April_1 1933. Initially, the IAF consisted of five fighter pilots, one RAF commanding officer and four ''Westland Wapiti Biplanes''.
The first five pilots commissioned into the Indian Air Force were H C Sircar, Subroto Mukerjee, Bhupendra Singh, A B Awan and Amarjeet Singh. A sixth officer, S N Tandon had to revert to Ground duties as he was too short. All of them were commissioned as ''Pilot Officers'' in 1933. Subroto Mukerjee later went on to become the IAF's first Indian Chief of Air Staff. Subsequent batches inducted before World_War_2 included Aspy Engineer, K K Majumdar, Narendra, R H D Singh, S N Goyal, Baba Mehar Singh, Prithpal Singh and Arjan Singh.
In 1991 the government approved the induction of women into nontechnical air force officer billets, such as administration, logistics, accounting, education, and meteorology. In 1992 opportunities for "pioneer women officers" were opened in the areas of transportation, helicopters, and navigation, and the first group of thirteen women cadets entered the Air Force Academy. During their flight training, they qualified on HPT-32 and Kiran aircraft to earn their air force commissions. After completing ten months' training, five of the seven successful course graduates received further training on various transport aircraft. By 1994, there were fifty-five women officers in the air force.
In 1994 it had 110,000 personnel and 779 combat aircraft. The air force, which is headquartered in New Delhi, is headed by the chief of air staff, an air chief marshal. He is assisted by six principal staff officers: the vice chief of air staff, the deputy chief of air staff, the air officer in charge of administration, the air officer in charge of personnel, the air officer in charge of maintenance, and the inspector general of flight safety.
The Indian air force was equipped with twenty-two squadrons of ground attack fighters. Five of these squadrons had a total of eighty-nine British Jaguar aircraft. Another five squadrons had 120 Soviet-origin MiG-27 aircraft. The air force also fielded twenty fighter squadrons, two of which were equipped with a total of thirty-five French-built Mirage 2000 H/TH aircraft. There were also twelve squadrons of transport aircraft in the inventory. Because of the large number of Soviet-origin aircraft, the air force is dependent on Russia for spare parts and equipment and weapons upgrades. In March 1995, Russia agreed to upgrade India's MiG-21 aircraft.
Aside from the Training Command at Bangalore, the center for primary flight training is located at the Air Force Academy at Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, followed by operational training at various air force schools. Advanced training is also conducted at the Defence Services Staff College; specialized advanced flight training schools are located at Bidar, Karnataka, and Hakimpet, Andhra Pradesh (also the location for helicopter training). Technical schools are found at a number of other locations.
Indian Air Force
The Indian Air Force (IAF) today, having completed more than six decades of dedicated service to the nation, is a modern, technology-intensive force distinguished by its commitment to excellence and professionalism. Keeping space with the demands of contemporary advancements, the IAF continues to modernise in a phased manner and today it stands as a credible air power as the nation marches into the next millennium.
With the ever escalating costs of operations, great emphasis is being placed on cost effective training, reducing expenditure, optimising output and minimising wastage. The Air Force has implemented a number of measures to enhance the quality of life of its personnel in Key welfare areas of housing, education and hostel facilities.
In addition to the traditional wartime roles of the IAF of counter air, counter surface, strategic and combat support operations, the Air Force has provided significant aid to civil authorities during natural calamities like the Gujarat cyclone and the Malpa tragedy. The Siachen glacier lifeline continues to be monitored by the Indian Air Force, fully supporting the Indian Army in fighting on the world’s highest battlefield. The IAF has also provided aid to civil authorities for the large scale movement of military and para military personnel to maintain law and order as well as to cater for the needs of a large number of airmen and jawans in remote and inaccessible outposts.
IAF Commands
The Indian Air Force has seven commands, of which five are operational and two functional, namely :
HQ Central Air Command, Allahabad;
HQ Eastern Air Command, Shillong;
HQ Western Air Command, New Delhi;
HQ Southern Air Command, Trivendrum;
HQ South-Western Air Command, Gandhi Nagar;

It is also the color of the Hindu people. The green stands for faith, fertility and the land; it is the color of the Islam religion. The white is in the center, symbolizing the hope for unity and peace. In the center of the white band is a blue wheel with 24 spokes. This is the Ashoka Chakra (or "Wheel of Law"). Month One Mommy, I am only 8 inches long, but I have all my organs. I love the sound of your voice. Every time I hear it, I wave my arms and legs. The sound of your heart beat is my favorite lullaby.
Month Two Mommy, today I learned how to suck my thumb. If you could see me, you could definitely tell that I am a baby. I'm not big enough to survive outside my home though. It is so nice and warm in here.
Month Three You know what Mommy? I'm a girl!! I hope that makes you happy. I want you to always be happy. I don't like it when you cry. You sound so sad. It makes me sad too, and I cry with you even though you can't hear me.
Month Four Mommy, my hair is starting to grow. It is very short and fine, but I will have a lot of it. I spend a lot of my time exercising. I can turn my head and curl my fingers and toes and stretch my arms and legs. I am becoming quite good at it too. Month Five You went to the doctor today. Mommy, he lied to you. He said that I'm not a baby. I am a baby Mommy, your baby. I think and feel. Mommy, what's abortion? Month Six I can hear that doctor again. I don't like him. He seems cold and heartless. Something is intruding in my home. The doctor called it a needle. Mommy, what is it? It burns! Please make him stop! I can't get away from it! Mommy! HELP me! Month Seven Mommy, I am okay. I am in Jesus's arms. He is holding me. He told me about abortion. Why didn't you want me Mommy?
When using a mobile phone while driving, safety is the most important call you will make. All drivers can make safety their first priority by following these ten simple steps.
1. Always Use Hands Free
In Australia it is illegal to use a mobile phone while driving unless you use a hands free in-car-kit or portable hands free device. When using a portable hands free device make sure it is set up and working before you start to drive. A hands free device can reduce the physical effort to make and receive calls; however, it alone doesn?t make using a mobile phone while driving safe.
2. Plan Your Trip and Make Calls When Stationary
Whenever possible plan your trip and make calls when stationary or during rest breaks in long trips.
3. Don?t Call in Heavy Traffic or Weather Conditions
Don?t accept or make calls if traffic and weather conditions could make it unsafe to do so. Also, even if the traffic conditions are light, always tell the person you are speaking to that you?re driving and that you may have to end the call if driving conditions change.
4. Don?t Engage in Complex or Emotional Conversations
If a call becomes complex or emotional tell the person you are speaking to, you are driving and suspend the call. Complex and emotive conversations on a mobile phone, or with other passengers, and driving don?t mix they are distracting and can be dangerous.
5. Use Message Services to Answer Calls
If a call is unnecessary or you consider it unsafe to answer at the time, don?t answer the call. Let it divert to voicemail or an answering service.
6. Pull Over Safely if You Stop to Make a Call
If you choose to stop to answer or make a call or retrieve a message, pull over carefully in a safe area. Don?t stop where you could be a hazard to other vehicles, pedestrians or yourself.
7. Use Your Phones Features to Reduce the Effort to Make a Call
Before using our phone while driving, carefully read your phones instruction manual and learn to use the speed dial and redial features of your phone. Also, if possible, use a phone with voice activated dialing and automatic answering features to reduce the effort to make and receive a call.
8. Never Take Notes, Look Up Phone Numbers, Read or Send SMS
Always keep both eyes on the road and never take notes during a call. Don?t read or send text messages or SMS (Short Messaging Service) while driving. If required, use a directory assistance service which connects you directly to the number and don?t look up phone numbers from your phones memory.
9. Tell callers you?re driving while on the phone
Always let the person you?re speaking to know that you are driving. This lets them know that you may not always respond immediately and reminds you that driving safely is your first priority. Hello, I am in the car at the moment.
"Why are you smiling?", my daughter asked me the other day. It was too complicated to answer her right away. I had been lost in thought. I had been thinking about my life and all the blessings that I had been given by God. I was thinking about the first time that I held my daughter in my arms. I was thinking about just recently giving her a driving lesson. I was thinking about all those joyous and priceless moments in between. I was thinking of my two sons who in spite of their handicaps and learning difficulties had taught me more about love, kindness, and bliss than I could ever have hoped to learn on my own. I was thinking about my family and friends and about all the joyful support they had given me over the years. They had helped me to grow into the person I am now.
I was thinking too about how wonderful it had been to grow up in these mountains of my home. Their natural beauty had touched my soul daily. I was thinking as well about how delightful it had been to have so many dogs and cats all through my life. Their love so freely given was a constant source of joy for me. I was thinking most of all, however, about how much God must love all of us to bless us with so many opportunities to choose love and share joy in this life. I was thinking about all of these things so naturally my face and soul were smiling.
Life is so wonderful. Life is so beautiful. Life is such a glorious gift from God. It is full to overflowing with people to love, wonders to enjoy, and good things to do. Even its most painful moments and most difficult times can lead us to greater growth, learning, love, and oneness with God if we let them. Be thankful for all the blessings God gives you in this life. Think of them often. Let them fill your heart, mind, and soul. And then when people ask you why you are smiling all the time, you will know what to say.
1. (Walk up behind girl and point fingers shaped like gun into her back) "You're under arrest!" (For what?) "For stealing my heart." 2. Hi, my name is Chance, Do I have one? 3. are your legs tired?
